《纽约时报》报导，提勒森在担任国务卿任内，针对各种外交政策问题，曾与川普发生多次衝突。川普今日宣布解除提勒森美国国务卿的职务。并由中情局长蓬佩奥接任该职务。
川普在推特上宣布中情局长蓬佩奥将接任美国国务卿一职，并感谢提勒森的付出。
